Tan Delta Testing and Why It Matters
Tan Delta testing, also called dissipation factor testing, is a diagnostic method for high-voltage insulation. It identifies hidden issues like moisture, contamination, or aging by measuring changes in insulation properties. As a proactive maintenance tool, it helps address risks early to prevent costly and unexpected equipment failures.
